# Do we pay for leaders and accompanying adults?

Yes — **everyone who takes part pays**, leaders and adult helpers included.

Any adult going round with a team is participating in the Run, not supervising from the sidelines, so they need to be registered on the booking system in the same way as every other player.

### What about adults who come to London but don't go round with a team?

They don't need a place. Only people taking part in the Run are registered and paid for.

So if you're bringing an extra leader to be on hand during the day — which [Explorer and Ranger units need to do](https://help.monopoly-run.co.uk/en/article/how-many-people-can-be-in-a-team-and-do-we-need-a-leader-1v7sq98/) — they don't take up a place unless they join a team.
