When is the start time and where do we meet?
Your teams will need to be at the Start Zone that your group coordinator has selected (done after the first time of logging in) ~10 minutes before their start time. Group Coordinators can see the exact point for the Start Zone by going to the booking system and looking at the dashboard page for the Start Zone map. Our first start time is 9:30 a.m., and there are starts every 5 minutes up to and including 10 a.m. Start times are automatically assigned to games. It can be a very long day so coming prepared is very important. It goes without saying that end of early March can still be quite cold so having the right clothing is a must along with a bottle of water. Pack lunch is optional but we find most groups get their members to bring some money and find somewhere to eat when they are going around. At 5:30 pm, the game will be finished, and we all take a deep breath. You are then free to head home. You aren't required to return to your Start Zone. If you know that you will be late for whatever reason, we do need to know, as the Start Zone marshals need to keep a record so they know when they can leave. Unfortunately, we can't hold up the start of the game(s), which means that your team(s) will have a slight disadvantage. Throughout the day, the guys at Monopoly Run HQ will post team challenges that you have the option of taking part in. The challenges focus on getting a photo of the team doing a specific task, and if it's done correctly, the team will win money towards their bank balance. The is no requirement for teams to take part in the challenges but it could be the thing that keeps you in the game.
