How do we buy hotels?

Once your team owns every property in a colour group, you can buy hotels on them — as long as you've got the funds. You don't need to be at the property, so you can buy from anywhere in London, at any time.

In the app: open the property, go to Property Details and tap Purchase Hotel. The button only appears once your team meets all the criteria, so if you can't see it, you're missing a property in the set or the money. You can also buy a hotel by phoning HQ and speaking to the helpdesk.

Hotels can't be bought on utilities (including Jail), stations or Free Parking.

A hotel triples the base rent, so a well-timed purchase can move you a long way up the leaderboard — but keep an eye on your balance.
