How does rent work?
You earn rent automatically every time another team checks in at a property your team owns. You don't need to be at the property, or do anything at all.
How much you earn depends on what else you own:

Pall Mall with a hotel | £210 |
Owning the full colour set doubles the base rent. A hotel triples the base rent — it does not stack on top of the colour-set double. So Pall Mall with a hotel earns £210, not £420. (You'll always own the full set anyway, since hotels can only be bought on a complete colour group.)

These same figures decide what you pay in fines for properties you don't visit.
