Do we pay for leaders and accompanying adults?

Yes — everyone who takes part pays, leaders and adult helpers included.

Any adult going round with a team is participating in the Run, not supervising from the sidelines, so they need to be registered on the booking system in the same way as every other player.

It's the same reason a leader takes up one of the team's seven places rather than being an extra person on top: how many people can be in a team, and do we need a leader?

What about adults who come to London but don't go round with a team?

They don't need a place. Only people taking part in the Run are registered and paid for.

So if you're bringing an extra leader to be on hand during the day — which Explorer and Ranger units need to do — they don't take up a place unless they join a team.
